Does sneezing *really* give you a tiny bit of an orgasm?

The truth about sneezing and orgasms

There’s something satisfying about a good sneeze, right? But what’s the tie-in with having an orgasm?
Allow us to explain: sneezing is basically just getting rid of germs via a whoosh of air out your nose.
Or, as Alexis Jackman, M.D., of the New York-based ENT and Allergy Associates, puts it, ‘a coordinated, autonomic response to stimuli’.
As for the theory that says if you sneeze a number of times in a row it feels like you’re having a teeny tiny orgasm? Not true.
While both are involuntary reflexes that release endorphins in the body – the levels do not compare. As in, the post-sneeze feelgood is nothing like the buzzy high post orgasm.
‘I think the myth has to do with the erectile tissue in the nose, and how that relaxes once you’ve sneezed’, she says.
Spoiler: no sneeze will ever feel as good as climaxing on the regular.
