Since Caitlyn Jenner
emerged on the cover of the Vanity Fair magazine on June 1, social
media just can't get enough of the new transgender TV girl. So far so
good. She's trying to adapt to her new self and fame. But she once had a
past and that past included her being a three-times married man who
raised ten kids... her name then was Bruce Jenner!
Now,
besides the obvious fact that Caitlyn is a female and Bruce was a man
and also the fact that Bruce is 'dead' and Caitlyn is so much alive,
here are five other ways, both stars seem to differ from each other.
- Caitlyn is reportedly more valuable than Bruce Jenner. According to TMZ, in the motivational speaking business which was what Bruce used to do, Caitlyn now commands far more than what Bruce used to ask for. Bruce got $25,000 while Caitlyn is now getting $100,000 per gig.
- Funny enough Bruce was not so social media friendly. In fact besides his daughters ruling the tabloids, Bruce was ONLY very active on Wikipedia. But fast forward to June 1, Caitlyn already has more than two million followers on Twitter alone and now drops posts about her sex change to those who want to know.
- Bruce Jenner was obviously more private that her new self, Caitlyn. Back then he would allow his family take all the attention while he sat behind making sure they were brought up right. But now, Caitlyn seem to rule the media to a point Snoop Dogg thought it was 'overbearing'.
- Ofcourse Bruce Jenner was a sports hero. One of the first American athletes to win an Olympic gold medal. He's been respected in that light ever since. As for Caitlyn, she's just a fast rising reality TV star struggling to get into the world and be relevant in her own way.
- Last but not the list, Caitlyn seem to live in the past. She is trying to make amends on things she couldn't while she was Bruce such as getting closer to his sons and first daughter, Cassandra Jenner whom he suggested should have been aborted. She also getting closer to her mother, Ester. Something she hardly could do. As for Bruce, he was the man of the present who tried to raise later Robert Kardashian Snr.'s four kids and two he had with ex wife, Kris Jenner. That Bruce was some what negligent about his first children.
