Club supporter arrested for assaulting blind man

A Chelsea fan has been arrested for assaulting a blind man and another woman in a train

A Chelsea fan has been arrested by the police for allegedly assaulting a blind and another train passenger.
The incident allegedly happened on Sunday, May 3 after Chelsea clinched the Premier League title.
The Chelsea fan along other supporters were singing songs about about Cesc Fabregas on the train.
A woman demanded that they keep quiet but was verbally abused before the  blind man came to her rescuse.

The blind man was 'roughed up' according to allegations by the Chelsea fan.
"They called her a slag. A man with a white stick tried to intervene after hearing what was happening. He was roughed up. Then another man got involved," an eye witness told the UK Sun.
One of the victims of the assault was said to have been taken to the hospital with severe facial injuries.
"We were called to reports of an altercation on Sunday, 3 May, at Shepherd’s Bush London Underground station," a British Transport Police spokesman said according to Daily Mail.
"The call came into police shortly before 10.20pm. Officers attended the scene and a 22-year-old man from Harrow was arrested on suspicion of common assault. He has been bailed pending further enquiries until Wednesday 27 May."
This is in the latest in the series of inappropriate behaviour by Chelsea fans.
In February, a host of fans refused to let a black man into the train in Paris after Chelsea's UEFA Champions League game with Paris Saint Germain.
